What good food means to us
Our ethos is simple, natural food made with good, wholesome ingredients to eat in or on the go. We’re a happy bunch of folks looking to serve happy food.
The flexitarian way
Most of our dishes are vegan and there’s no beef or dairy in the kitchen.
Our approach
Where we can make it from scratch, we do. Some of our vegan staples are homemade garlic mayo, cocoanut spread and katsu sauce.
Sweet things
We’re experimenting with new cakes every week too.
About us
Opened in early 2019, it’s a new venture for us in sharing our love for good food. We rather liked the old owners’ name for the place and so kept it as Down to Earth Glasgow.
Most of our dishes are vegan and there’s no beef or dairy in the kitchen. We have cow’s milk for those who like it with their tea though and locally sourced chicken and pork dishes. Our different vegan burgers and fish tacos seem to be flying out the door! All made fresh daily by our head chef Kevin and his lovely, food obsessed team.
Cold pressed juices are a big part of who we are here at Down to Earth. We juice a range of different flavours every morning and what’s available changes seasonally. The perfect kick start, the hangover cure, the perk you up….we’re loving the variety.
We’re thinking cold pressed cocktails could be our next thing to try.
